To keep your jewelry shiny for longer, put it on last, after creams, perfumes, and hairspray, and take it off before showering, going to the beach or pool, exercising, and sleeping. Chemicals, chlorine, and saltwater can dull surfaces, especially those plated with 925 silver.
Cleaning is simple: wipe with a soft, dry cloth. If necessary, use lukewarm water + mild soap, rinse quickly, and dry it immediately by patting it dry. Avoid ultrasonic cleaners, abrasive pastes, baking soda/lemon, toothpaste, alcohol, acetone, and bleach.
Store your jewelry completely dry, separately from one another, in closed bags/pouches, away from moisture and direct light; small silica gel packets or anti-tarnish strips help slow down oxidation. Remember: pieces plated with 925 silver require extra care; copper and brass may darken over time (this is normal and harmless); stainless steel is more resistant, but it is best to rinse and dry it after contact with water or sweat. With this care, the shine will last much longer.
