For us, an order is not simply a product to be picked from a shelf.
It is the beginning of a process. When you choose one of our creations, you are commissioning a piece of jewelry that will generally require between 48 and 90–96 hours of work, depending on its complexity.
Each design follows different steps and needs its own amount of time.
That is also why we do not try to produce hundreds of identical pieces in advance: we prefer to work slowly, one at a time.
Hand-selected stones, colors created every time
A lot begins even before the crafting process. We personally select the stones we use, sourced from different countries, from India to Europe.
We observe them, compare them, and choose the ones that catch our eye the most. No two stones are alike.
The same applies to our colors. Pigments and shades are combined to create the hues of light blue, blue, turquoise, and green that remind us of the sea.
For this reason, the jewelry you receive may have a slightly different shade from the one you saw in the photograph. And that is exactly how we want it.
A wave is not perfectly symmetrical. Neither is a shell. And it is precisely this irregularity that we seek to preserve.
Depending on the creation, the metal is worked, shaped, and progressively refined until the desired curvature is achieved.
For many designs, we use brass specifically for its malleability: it allows us to create organic, distinctive shapes before subjecting it to subsequent processing, inspections, and plating.
We also use stainless steel, titanium-based alloys, and silver finishes, depending on the creation. We are not looking for the cold precision of a machine: we are looking for a shape that seems to already have a story.
Color needs time
It is one of the stages that requires the most patience. After preparing the surface, the color is applied and allowed to adhere properly before proceeding with the subsequent processes.
For enameled models, each step must follow the necessary timing before finishing and heat treatment, where applicable.
There will never be another one exactly like it
This is, ultimately, the part we love most. Your piece may have a slightly smaller stone, a different grain, a slightly more pronounced curve, or a shade of blue that we wouldn’t be able to recreate exactly a second time.
They aren’t flaws. They are traces of the way we work.
When you receive one of our creations, you aren’t simply receiving one of many identical pieces produced on an assembly line. You receive the one we made for your order, with the choices and small differences that emerged during its creation.
You may have to wait a few extra days.
But precisely because it’s yours, we believe it’s worth the wait.
